Paul brings a unique blend of operational leadership and clinical care to the table. With frontline experience supporting the North West Ambulance Service as an Urgent Care Lead and over six years as a professional trainer, he’s qualified in FREC 4, SALM, Medical Gases. He holds the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET). His background spans healthcare, corporate training, and operational strategy, all delivered with a calm, compassionate, and learner-focused approach.
Dave, co-director of P3, also qualified to FREC 4 level and trained in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS), is equally committed to delivering realistic, scenario-based training. With vast experience in adult and paediatric first aid, mental health first aid, and emergency care, Dave is known for his down-to-earth style, strong communication skills, and commitment to tailoring courses to each client’s needs. His approach blends real-life examples with practical, confidence-building learning.

When delivering first aid courses, Paul F Gill Training can offer Qualsafe Awards certification if requested at the time of booking (a small additional charge may apply). First Aid Industry Body
The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) is an independent trade body established by professionals within the sector to support high standards in first aid education. Unlike the former HSE approval system, FAIB offers a more robust quality assurance process by using experienced, independent inspectors to assess each registered training provider. This ensures that all training remains compliant with the Health & Safety Executive’s (HSE) guidelines and legal requirements for workplace first aid. FAIB approval enables providers like Paul F Gill Training to deliver recognised courses and issue in-house certificates that are fully compliant with employer obligations under UK health and safety law.
